Hello, I’m Michelle Maleek, the founder of Open House Charitable Foundation.

I have had opportunities of traveling to many places in the world and during these trips, I experienced conditions of life in the developing countries that were unimaginable.

In this adventure, I witnessed first hand, children studying in dilapidated buildings without furniture, worn out uniforms, malnutrition/ poor healthcare and lack of portable water for children & families. During this experience, I vowed to establish a Non For Profit Organization called Open House Charitable Foundation to address these circumstances.

Understanding the challenges of such an effort, I’m aware that I can not do this alone. I invited people of goodwill to join me in formally using this platform to support and empower women and children with educational and health related assistance in developing countries as well as taking care of similar circumstances of communities here in the United States of America.
